January 6th Announcements

For Everyone

January Reach Week

It is our desire during Reach week to communicate clearly to our community that we are nice, that we care, and that we are willing to serve.  Each REACH Week will include opportunities for us to serve our community together.  The January Reach Week has been scheduled for the week of January 20th-26th. More details will be announced soon, but as of now we have several opportunities for our church family to participate in. We will stuff and deliver new movers packets, pass out hand warmers at commuter parking lots and prepare a “thank-you” for our Police, Fire and EMS personnel. Mark your calendars now and plan to join us for this special week!

The Vine Community Membership class

Our upcoming Vine Community Membership Class is an informal time at Pastor James and Katie’s house where you are able to learn about what The Vine Community Church is all about as well as ask and discuss any questions that you may have.  Pastor James would welcome anyone who has not yet attended one.  The next class is on Sunday, February  3rd   from 2:00 – 6:00 PM.  If you are interested in attending please fill out a communication card letting us know of your interest and we will mark you down.  Directions will be available closer to the class.

For Children

Are you ready for the KIDSTUF KICKOFF?

This interactive 45 minute family-oriented, virtue-driven production provides an opportunity for you to meet your children in their world!  If you listen closely, you might even learn something, too!  It’s singing, dancing, crazy characters, loud music, and an all-around good time.  And the best part…  Go ahead, do a little happy dance.  We won’t tell.  It’s FREE!!

We hope to see you next week at 3:00pm.  Have your child bring any stuffed animal friends that might need a repair or check up at our Repair a Bear Clinic.  We will be having KidStuf on the second Sunday of the following months at 3:00, January, February, March, April, and May

This is an awesome opportunity to invite friends!!

Does your child have a birthday?

Why not let us do all the work so you can sit back and take pictures at your child’s best birthday party ever!  If you are interested in booking a KidStuf Birthday party for your child please call Donna Harris at 240-765-5285.  Brochures are available at the Children’s ministry table.
