This Sunday Nov. 30th: Children’s Event: First Ever Gobble Give.
Special Children’s Thanksgiving Presentation
Sunday Nov. 30th during the 10:30am worship service the children will have a special presentation at church by sharing what they are thankful for and by presenting the food that they have collected for the food drive during service.  After their presentation the children will have a special party to thank God for all He has given us.  Parents are encouraged to have their children earn food items for the Gobble Give by doing extra chores around the house or by helping out a neighbor.

This Sunday Nov. 30th: "Christ"mas At The Vine
Christmas at The Vine presents a special opportunity to help in preparing our church for this special season.  All are welcome to share in helping to prepare our Christmas Services and in decorating our church for the season.  If you would like to help you are invited to attend a short planning session on Sunday, Nov. 30 at 9:30 a.m. at the church Welcome Table area. Sun. December 7th: Introduction to the Church Coffee
New to The Vine?  Would you like to know more?  Join us for some light refreshments at our Introduction to the Church Coffee  immediately following service this Sun. December 7th in Adult Classroom 561 just behind the Welcome Table for a short 45 minute discussion with Pastor James regarding who we are and what we do here at The Vine.  Anyone is welcome!  If you would like to come and have not yet signed up than feel free to stay after service and attend.

Nov. Reach Week Annual Community Christmas Food Drive
The Vine Community Church will be partnering with community Social Services and other local churches/organizations in collecting food items for the Christmas Connection Food Drive.  The overall goal is to fill baskets of food for 250 families in the community who are disabled, shut-in, or in need.  Donations of non-perishable food items will be accepted at the Welcome Table at church on Sunday mornings from Sunday, November 2nd until Sunday, November 30th.

Volunteers are needed to (Let us know by using your communication card which service opportunity you are interested in and you will be contacted with more information):
1. Organize storage of donated items each week
2. Put food bags together on Sunday, December 7th after church service
3. Help to distribute food on Saturday, December 13th
