Life Groups Begin This Week!
Just a reminder that your life groups begin this coming week!  Brace yourself for another 3 months of support, encouragement, laughter and most of all growth as we GROW TOGETHER!

THIS SUNDAY January 25th: January REACH WEEK Event
Come join us Sunday, February 1st right after service to help us assemble the hand warmers and invitation cards OR to receive a box to distribute the following week as we prepare to spread happiness this coming week by handing out hand warmers to local commuters.  We will meet in Adult Classroom 561 just behind the Welcome Table. Sunday Feb. 15th: Church Membership Class
We will be having a Church Membership Class on Sunday February 15th from 2:00 – 6:00pm.  The class is an informal discussion with Pastor James about what it means to join a church and some specific information on The Vine Community Church.  If you are interested in attending please fill out a communication card letting us know of your interest and we will provide you with more detailed information and directions.

Special Ministry Opportunity!
Medical Missions Trip to Guatemala
Karen Fenner from the La Plata New Life Church is beginning preparations for their annual medical mission trip from May 16th, 2009 through May 23rd, 2009 and would like to invite anyone who is interested to email her at Iam1Kluelessmom@aol.com or call her at 301-934-2512 for more information.  There will be an information meeting on Feb. 8th in the Administrative Building at the New Life Church Campus at 9690 Shepherd’s Creek Pl in La Plata at 5pm as well that anyone is free to attend.  The total cost for the trip is around $1,300.00 and an application and $500.00 deposit is required by March 1 so if you are interested do not delay.
