Sat. Apr 25th - Christmas in April- REACH Week Event
April is the time for rain showers  to bring in May flowers.  It’s also the time to give to others in the spirit of Christmas.  This year, we have the opportunity to bless a homeowner by reaching out on Saturday, April 25th to help with some much needed home repairs and TLC.  We are looking for people who are willing to pitch in an help with our list of projects like painting, replacing fixtures, etc.  There will be a cookout afterwards for participants and their families at the fairgrounds catered by Outback Steakhouse.  Please contact Paul Stockman for information about the site location at papastockman@yahoo.com or phone 301-638-5184.

Men and Teenagers We Need You- Mother’s Day is Coming!
As always, we want Mother’s Day to be a very special day for our mother’s and we felt one way to do this would be to enable each mother to be free of responsibility on Sunday morning, May 10th so that they can fully enjoy the day and the service.  In order to do this, we need fathers and teenagers to volunteer to help serve at church that Sunday, filling a mother’s slot, freeing her up to enjoy service.  If you are willing to help out on Mother’s Day, May 10th, please respond by filling out your green communication card.  Someone will be in touch with you to help you find the best place to serve.  Thank you for your help in making this day special for our Mother’s.

KAMP KABOOM!! Registering Now!
God said it…KABOOM!!...It was.  You don’t want to miss our district Kids Camp located in Denton, Maryland for ages entering 2nd grade through age 11.  This will be Ms. Donna’s 3rd year at Camp and it is not because she loves the Sloppy Joe’s, it’s because it is a privilege to be a part of something that gives your child the “spiritual shot” in the arm that is like no other.  Registration is currently ongoing and if you register by May 25th the cost will be $150.00 or the June 15th deadline cost is $175.  Registration information is available at the Children’s Check-in Table.
