Our next work day on the new church property will be this Saturday, August 28th, from 9am to 2pm.

YARD SALE
If you are looking for a way to be a part of the Work Day at The Vine,
we are looking for volunteers to work the Yard Sale.
August 28th, from 8am-2pm
Two shifts are available:
8am-11am, set up and sell OR 11am-2pm, sell and clean up
OR stay all day!!
Donations are needed! We are looking for gently used items.
Items will need to be dropped off the morning of the sale at the Berry Road property between 7-8:30am.
Tax write-off forms will be available for those who make donations to the Yard Sale.
(If you need one, please come to the checkout table on Saturday.)
We are also in need of tables if anyone has some we can use that day.
LEMONADE STAND
On our next Work Day at the Vine, the Children's Ministries will be selling Lemonade
in conjunction with a yard sale and bake sale. The stand will be open from 9:00-2:00pm.
This will get people of the community on the property and will help raise money for the building fund.
We are still looking for voluneers to donate lemonade mix, gallons of water,
individual bottles of water (which will be sold as well), and TIME.
Donations can be brought the morning of the workday on August 28th.
If you would like to make a donation or volunteer to work one of the two shifts,

BAKE SALE
Are you a baker? We need baked goods for the Work Day at The Vine!
If you would like to donate baked goods for out August 28th bake sale at the Berry Road property,

REACH WEEK
Reach Week will combine with the church work day on August 28th,
as it is our ultimate goal to REACH all the people of Waldorf from our Berry Road church home some day.
FIRST FRIDAYS: A Children of the Vine Connection Event
friends and family as we celebrate a new year of school. There will also be a few family-friendly competitions to see who can actually define things like inculcation, proselytism, and pedagogy. Say that three times fast!

WESLEYAN MARRIED COUPLES CRUISE
March 21st-25th Join us for the culmination of our Celebration of Marriage with a four day cruise
leaving from Miami, Florida and sailing to the Bahamas.

OUTREACH OPPORTUNITY
Children's Ministry Service Project- "Snack Attack"
From now until the end of September, we will be collecting individually-wrapped snacks
for the Good News Bible Club, an evangelical outreach at Wade Elementary School led by Jennifer Decker.
This program presents the Gospel of Christ to elementary age students after school on Wednesday of each school week.
Between 75 and 100 students participate in the program and are provided
with an after school snack, a Bible Story, and a craft.
What a great way to reach the residents of Waldorf!!!

Our church family gave 29 baby bottle of change to the Catherine Foundation,
totaling $442.16!!
